Performing a Detailed Inspection
We can complete detailed tree inspections and arboricultural surveys of your trees, including diagnosis of any diseases that are present – a process which may include climbing or use of a drone to inspect the health of the tree high in the canopy.
We conduct both Ground and Aerial Inspections to inspect, investigate, collect and record data on the tree. Sometimes a problem area on the tree is positioned in an area not visible from ground level, or it may just be too far away to assess the extent of the problem and its likely implication. This is usually the case on very tall trees or those with particularly dense crowns.

It is also a good idea to check whether you need to apply for planning permission from your local council if you are within a conservation area or under a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) before you do any tree work because you can be fined or prosecuted for unlawfully clearing vegetation.
All landowners have a common legal ‘Duty of Care’ under the Occupiers Liability Act 1957-1984. This means carrying out suitable and appropriate risk assessments on any trees in your care. An arboricultural tree survey will check for decay, pest control or structural hazards. It is a legal requirement to ensure that your trees are safe, and trees must be inspected regularly by a suitably qualified person.
